Shri
Studio's standard yoga class is a vinyasa-based practice, and each
class on the weekly schedule is appropriate for all levels of
experience.
With breath-synchronized movements, these classes are designed to
re-pattern the energy within both your physical and energetic bodies.
How?
Each Shri Studio vinyasa practice starts
with meditation and breath work (pranayama) and moves into an ever-changing series
of postures (asanas), incorporating standing and seated sequences, balances,
twists, back bends and inversions. Some classes are set to an
ever-changing array of music. Some classes are silent. The practice concludes with a long, deep, luxurious relaxation, traditionally referred to as shavasana. The culmination of these experiences, in one beautiful space, creates different levels of what we then describe as "flow."
At Shri Studio, certified
teachers offer safe, hands-on assistance in all postures for each and
every student who wants them, and modifications are always encouraged
and demonstrated to achieve proper alignment.
