Gentle yoga classes at Shri Studio are designed to invite students into experiences of deep relaxation while gently strengthening and lengthening the body. These are beautiful classes for students seeking such relaxation, increased body awareness and a gentle way to move the body and breath consciously.
Those students who need slower and more gentle transitions and movement will benefit from these classes. Most of the postures explored during these classes are supported with props, either on or against a wall, with a chair or on the back.
These classes are appropriate for older students with more limited mobility and for students who are older or who may have experienced accidents/trauma and are looking to move at a much, slower pace.
