This is a quiet practice that uses floor postures to stretch and stimulate deep inside our bodies. The postures are held for between 3 to 5 minutes in the yin yoga tradition, making this a meditative practice. This is accessible to the Beginner Yogi or the Advanced. This is the opposite of the Yang practice which is a more flowing, strengthening practice; the two together create the perfect balance. This class starts with a half hour of  sun salutations to warm up your body, then proceeds to the floor for a full hour of Yin practice.
